Help with Calendar

I downloaded a template for a calendar in Excel. I need to
know how a cell has the date (represented by a number)
that is not effected when you change the text properties
of other cell text. What is this called and how do I
create it. Sorry to ask such a novice question. Thanks in
advance.

Sorry I realized after that a text box was placed in the
cell, so the the editing to the cell would not change in
the text box. Thanks for the offer.
