Help with Master Project Summary

I have done up so far 6 separate projects that I have scheduled for this
summer. I also did up a master project summary with all of them in one. The
first 3 showed up properly but now I have inserted another one which I did
exactly the same way but my total duration for this project is getting added
into the project above making the project above adding the days in from this
new project - they should be separate but one thing I notice with this new
one is that the title I saved it under Won't outdent as far to the left as
the 3 projects above did therefore I am thinking it thinks is a subtask of
the one above? I am confused. When I go and insert another project I did up
in its doing the same thing so its adding the days to the project above.

Hi jandawn67 ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

When you insert the second or subsequent projects, make sure the one above
is closed down to a single line, otherwise it will be inserted as part of
the higher project.

Thanks so much for the tip and yes it did work. I didn't recall having to do
