Hidden Text in Notes View

I have a presentation file which when printed out in Notes Page view has some
hidden text appearing. It appears in the Print Preview screen also. However
if you look in the 3 pane view the text doesn't appear.

If i add my own notes to this slide then the hidden text is printed over the
top of my notes.

Any ideas ??? This is really bugging me any help very much appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

I would suggest looking on your Notes Page master (View => Masters ... =>
Notes Page)

If this happens all the time, then I would suspect there is an unwanted text
box in front of the text placeholder. Use the TAB key to cycle through each
of the shapes on the notes master. There should be ...
Slide image
Notes text placeholder
Date placeholder
Footer
Header
Number

If it only happens on a few slides, then it may just be on a few notes pages
for those individual slides.

I have already looked on the Notes Master and there is nothing on it.

It only appears on 1 slide out of 132 slides in the presentation.

Thanks... I have already looked on the notes master and there is nothing on
it. There is nothing in the header or footer either... It only appears on
this one slide and is the only one of 132 in the presentation file.

Hope this narrows it down for you...

Ok, same drill, slightly different area.

View => Notes page => Navigate to the slide in question.

Tab thru each shape on that particular slide's notes page until you find the
offending shape. Delete it. Smile.
