I am trying to email a group but want to hide the names
of the recipients - I could do this in Outlook Express
but cannot find a way through Outlook.

When in the message, select View->BCC. The BCC field will then be available
and you can post your DL there.

Milly, thankyou for your message to Bruce, but I am v. dim and still dont understand what to do to hide the names so that no one knows who the other recipients of the email message are. Also, dont know what 'DL' is that you mention, dont understand about bcc etc .....! so just need to know what to do

Bruce, I am sure you will have sussed long ago but in case not, how to hide recipients, is to put one name in the 'To' box and all the others in the 'Bcc' box, which stands for Blind Carbon Copies. Everyone gets a copy but just see it sent to .........themselves I think.............but they definitely dont see all the others
