hiding a form element from Word doc

Bob Cochenour

I have a word template file w/ 'form elements' defined on
it. I'm targetting data from a recordset to these form
elements.

Is there a way to hide (or disable) a form element on the
template (programatically) so that it does not appear.
For example, the second address line or a 'country' line.
I only want it to appear if the recordset contains a valid
value.

Hi Bob,

Since there are a number of things that can be used in Word
to create a form, could you please be more specific by what
you mean with "form element"? What command(s) did you use to
create them? And which version of Word is this?
