Hiding group totals in Project 2003

When grouping tasks is there any way of hiding the start/finish/days totals
in the title bar of each group, but retaining the group title name? i.e I
only want to show the individual start/finish/days for each task, not in the
group summary in Gantt Chart view.

If I understand correctly - you want to hide information in the table for
summary lines

If this is the case then I am afraid the answer is no .... all information
you display for the task level columns is also displayed for the summary lines

Consider creating a seperate view & table for summary level information
without all of the detail you require at the task level

I hope this helps ...

Thanks for your reply. Someone I know with Project 2000 is able to do this
by formatting the summary start/finish/days to the same colour as the
background, but in Project 2003 when I try to do this it won't let me format
individual cells in the group summary.

Cheers
