highlight in ver 97

I use to be able to select just one line to change the font to Bold by using
the pointer to the left of the paragraph. Now it selects the entire document
and it seems that before it was a black arrow, now it is white. Where do I
change the option? Thanks, Steve T.

Hi Steve

not sure why its selecting the whole doc ... but AFAIK it has alway been a
white arrow (haven't played with 97 for a while though)

click in front of the first letter of the line that you want to select, now
move the pointer to the left until you get the white arrow - pointing to the
right - and click once (triple click will select the whole doc) ... does
this work? you shouldn't need to click first, but it might just "force" it
to behave.
