Highlighting tasks that are passed due

How can I have Project automatically highlight (change
font) a task that is passed due? Maybe make it a
different color etc...

Create a filter (project menu/filter for.../more filters/edit
with the criteria
finish is less than ? (this will prompt for the date you want to use)
and
% Complete is less than 100%

Make sure that the "Highlight Filter" box is checked.

You can format the way the highlighted tasks show up by going to the Format
menu/text styles and formatting the highlight.

What version of Project are you using? If you have MSP2000+, use the
deadline field to indicate the due date. If the task finish is after the
deadline, a red indicator turns on in the leftmost column.
