I have a site developed with FP 2002 and the hit counter is not being
displayed. Just the words Hit Counter show up. What can cause this?

TIA

Does your server have the FrontPage Extensions installed??
They are required for a FrontPage hit counter.

Steve:

Yes, I am using IIS 5. I have several web sites on it using host
headers. The FP site is set as the default site. I just did a
Recalculate Web in IIS and get the following message(The server
administration programs and the server extensions on the web are not
compatible. The administration program is to old to use with this
server.) What would cause this? I am using W2K Server with SP 4.

TIA

Which version of Server extensions?? Also what version of FP created the
site.
You may try removing and re-installing the hit counter live on the server.
Remove, save, reinstall, save

I had the same thing when I was developing the site. The
hit counter will appear when you publish it on the net.
It did for me anyway.
