home page is fine in design but won't perview

Suddenly in th middle of develpment my home page will no longer preview. the
message is a tempdir file won't open. Different file each time. What can I
do. The other pages are not affected.

Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.
