Home Use Program re-activation

B

Bill

I installed a copy of Office XP that is a Home Use
Program, bought through my company. I have bought a new
machine and am selling my old machine. I would like to
remove Office from my old machine and install it on my
new machine. Am I going to run into problems installing
this software and activating it on my new machine? I am
pretty sure your hardware configuration is sent to
Microsoft during activation and I am worring the change
in machines will cause a problem.

Ask your system admin at work since they probably have more information than
we have since most of us do not use the Home version for Office 2003.
