How can I 'author' a DVD using a Publisher file?

I have written a book using Publisher 2003 and I want to publish (Author) it
on a DVD similar to a slideshow. So far even the Geek squad is clueless. Can
anybody HELP?

That may be because it sounds like a rather terrible idea...

But if you're set on it:

You can convert each page of your publication to a picture from within
Publisher. You can write a macro to do this for you, or you can hire me (or
anyone else you can find) to write a macro to do this for you.

Then you can use a DVD authoring application such as DVD-Lab to put all the
pictures into a slideshow. Or you can hire someone (e.g. me) to do that for
you too.

be viewed on a TV?

Unless you have a very peculiar book, viewing it on a TV sounds like a
recipe for disaster.
