How can i change the transparency of my graphic?

can someone tell me how you change the transparency of a graphic in
Powerpoint 2003? Thanks..

If the "graphic" is a powerpoint object (e.g. an autoshape) then you select the object by clicking it.

Then go to the "format" menu and choose "format autoshape"

on the "colors and lines" tab is a slider marked "transparency"

Slide it to 50% for semi see through!

If you want bitmaps to have a semi transparent appearance see
