How can I copy an .xls worksheet to another worksheet

When I cut and paste to another worksheet within the same file I loose all
formatting (column width, CI size, ect).

If you want the entire worksheet copied, right click on the tab &
select copy. It will make a duplicate of your current one which you
can rename.

one thing to remember... yes, you get a copy that looks the same and all,
but it would also copy any write-protection the original has, to prevent
changes in things like formulas and such... I know that if you highlight and
copy to a blank sheet, you lose the formatting, but it will copy the data
and NOT any kind of protection that may be on that sheet. so it depends if
you are copying to make changes, and have a backup, or copying to get a
duplicate that won't be changed...
