How can I delete a Personal Folder that outlook says is invalid

Hi, I'm using Outlook 2000 Professional. I have a Personal Folder showing in
Outlook that no longer exists in it's original location on my PC. I moved the
..pst file and associated archiveand extend files to a different folder on my
PC and thus have 2 Personal Folders showning in my Outlook folder list.
One which is the correct Personal Folder is shown as 'Outlook Today
Personal Folder' the other which is defunct but still showing in the list as
'Personal Folder'.
If I go to click it or right click it, it dispalys a message saying that the
'Specified path is incorrect...and is invalid'
I can't seem to be able to delete it out of Outlook...

Any ideas please as to how to correct this??

you must put the pst back in the original location, then you can right click
on the personal folder and choose CLOSE. Exit Outlook and then you can move
the pst file. The thing to remember is you must first close the folder, then
close Outlook and THEN you can move or delete the pst file.

Most likely this will not work since the profile is now corrupt.
