How can I flatten all items (text, images, etc.) for formatting?

I am creating a word document for e-mailing to many people. On some computers
the formating of pictures are out of alignment...how can I flatten this
document so all images stay put?

Michael: I prefer In line with text as the text wrapping for graphics in
Word. It may help you.
