How can I get rid of and/or hide the appearence of Owner Files?

Lukster

Hi its really bothering me that I can see extra files that I have not put
there myself. It really becomes an inconvenience when I have 3 or more open
files from word with the ~$(rest of title).doc name versus the real document
name. Can anyone help?

The only way not to show them is to hide hidden files and folders through
the Folder Options in Windows.

As Suzanne has posted, you can only choose not to show *all* system or files
flagged as hidden. You cannot individually choose not to show these temp
files. What you find bothering, most of us prefer to be aware of, so that we
know what files are present. If you cannot see the files, how will you be
aware of them when they are not removed correctly and remain to interfere
with the smooth running of the application? Ignore them!
