How can I import mail account settings from OE into Outlook?

I have exported the account settings for my email accounts and copied them to
the machine where I have Outlook installed. When I try to import them,
Outlook says there is nothig to import, never giving an opportunity for me to
tell it what/where to import.

how did you do it? did you configure the accounts in OE first?
