How can I insert a vertical column break between data to create a new column?
I pasted data that has a combination of words and numbers. I want to separate
the numbers from the words so I can rank the numerical part of the data. Is
this possible?

Hi!

You can do this easily using the Text To Columns command
from the Data menu.

Without any sample data to go by I can't be more specific.
