how can I put a single dot over an any carachter in word

hi,
I dont want use MS equation, or paintbrush or something like that. I try to
figure out if there is a way or a key combination for putting a dot directly
over an any letter or number ?

Well, you can have a look at
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/CombineCharacters.htm. Note that there is
a Combining Diacritical Marks character subset in Insert | Symbol. The
character U0307 is Combining Dot Above, but you won't find this in "(normal
text)." It is present in Arial Unicode MS. For all practical purposes, it
would probably be easier to use the Dot Above (02D9) in an EQ field as
described in the article.
