Outlook (OL) or Outlook Express(OE)?

You might try to disable your Antivirus email scanner and try. You will still be protected.

Hi Andy,
it is Outlook I am having trouble with,

Which version?

In Outlook 2002/2003 you can click on a "test" button and Outlook will check
your email account.

Maybe your provider need "authentication", but it is important to know which
Outlook version.

How to create an Email (POP3) account:
Outlook 2000 (IMO)

Outlook 2000 /CW)

Outlook 2002/2003

Search on this site for "add an email account"

Hi, I also have the same problem as Andy as not being able to receive email
through Outlook 2003, but I can send through it. I have done the test and the
email just goes back to my Yahoo email rather than Outlook (Have set up
POP3). I see the problem wasn't solved so am wondering if it has something to
do with saving to personal.pst, as i have tried everything else. Please help!!
