You posted in a newsgroup devoted to Microsoft Project, a planning and
schedule application. If all you want is an alphabetical list, I suggest
you either use word processing or spreadsheet application such as MS
Word or Excel. Either one has the capability to alphabetically sort
information.
What you describe is a classic application for a database management system
and Access is tailor-made for that sort of thing.
