How do I add a column on the Gant chart and have the information .

I would like to add a column after the task that shows a job number. When I
view the resource useage sheet I want this job number to show up after the
task. I have added a column Number1 and renamed it to job #. I also added a
Number1 column to the resource useage sheet but the numbers entered in the
gant chart do not show up automatically. How do I do this?

Thank you, Mike

the FAQ 37 looks like it addresses my problem. I am however a novice user
and have never done a macro. I can see where I can record one but I'm not
sure which information in the macro sample I would need to change or add to.
I would appreciate any help you could give.

Hi Deb,

Jack's macro also explains the process - how are you getting on?

Hi Deb,

Jack Dahlgren [Project MVP] has a macro on his site called "Copy task
fields" that copies Task Data to assignment fields. His site is:

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
