How do I add a EXCEL to OPEN WITH menu??

D

Dale

I need to use the OPEN WITH option to open a file (WinXP Pro). When I do
....it brings up the list of available programs like it should but does not
have Microsoft Excel listed in the list. Acrobat, Word, and a bunch of
others are listed but no Excel. I know I can hit "BROWSE" and find the
program BUT THIS IS too time consuming. Anyone know how to add a
program/shortcut (specifically Excel) to the OPEN WITH menu so the program is
listed without having to browse for it each time? Hope that makes sense.

Note - Excel was listed originally but was removed from this list after
being upgraded to Office 2003...tried detect and repair, didnt work.

Thanks in advance!

if this is an excel document ending .xls, then you may permamently assign
Excel to that file using the appropriate checkbox.
