How do I add a scroll bar from tool box into an Excel document

Leeno

I am creating a document with a timeline and want to be able to use a scroll
bar along the dates. I have seen these used in Gantt charts. I have found
the option by right clicking on the tool bars and then selecting control
toolbox. A tool bar comes up with the option to select a scroll bar. Once I
add it to my document it won't slide. I don't know how to connect it to the
dates below. Can anyone help me? Many thanks

You might find the scroll bar from the Forms toolbar works better on a
worksheet. After you add it, right click it and pick Format Control. On
the Control tab you can link the scroll bar to a cell and set the increment,
etc.

Did you want a scroll bar or a slider. Be specific with the type of control
as there are a few that are similar.
