How do I assign a group?

In some cases I wish to assign resources to a group of people as a
whole, not an individual. How do I do this in MSProject 2003?

Hi,

You should define the group as a resource ande assign that resource.
Mind you, there is no link between the group and the constituting people so
in terms of work allocated work of the individual resoruces will not count
towards the group and vice versa.
