How do I backup Office 2000 pst fiiles?

I have been using Microsoft Office 2000 for more than 8 years, and I want to
update to Microsoft Office Small Business 2007. Before commencing, I want to
insure that my large .pst files are properly backed up, so that I can import
them into Outlook 2007.

Any assistance is gratefully appreciated!

Note - you NEVER import native Outlook data unless you want a corrupt ..pst file and/or profile.
