How do I build a matrix in MS Word?

I am trying to build a matrix in MS Word for my class preparation. How do I
make one? I've tried to make it with table, but couldn't adjust the table to
an appropriate size.

You can create some matrices with Equation Editor, but if you need to use a
table, be aware that:

1. You need to set row height and column width to an exact amount (probably
the same amount).

2. You will probably need to set cell margins to 0" all around to allow for
small cells.
