How do I change a Publisher A3 4xA4page booklet to readable 4xpage

Isabel

Requested to split normal post circulation to percentage PDF but PDF shows 2
pages with page 1 showing reduced size pages 4+1 and page 2 pages 2+3.
Is there an easy conversion so that PDF shows as 4xA4 pages?
OR do I have to set up another publication from scratch setting page layout
text boxes etc and drag in text and pictures?
Also PDF pictures and graphics very dark almost black no matter how light or
what colour. Diagram text is fuzzy yet clear on printed version.
Help and advice please. Tks

Change the page setup to A4. This will give you 4 A4 pages.
Are you using Acrobat? What version Publisher are you using?

Mary, Have tried this & it allows to select full page and the 4 pages are
then shown on A3 size but cut-off from mid column 3 and base cut off. It does
not allow for page size to be changed to A4 - tried different ways to input
page size but no success. Close but not close enough - am I missing the
obvious?. Help please. ta Isabel.

Mary, the page set-up would not allow me to change page measurements for A4
page. My home printer is only A4 so no problems changing there but will
probably purchase A3 printer for future.
Eventually was able to have A4 page showing on screen rather than with a
sheet of A3, I then printed it on A4 printer but it is leaving a large top
margin 2.2cm when margins are set at 1cm(which prints fine on work A3
printer). and cutting off bottom of text approx 1cm+ and leaving 1.5 bottom
margin. I need to sort this prior to sending to readers electronically.
Also, when changed to full page A4 it moved all my column settings and text
around and did not print master page info eg. title name and page number. I
spent last night resetting all my text boxes and pictures.
Help please - I still have a feeling I am missing the obvious.
I previously used a designer who only used QuarkExpress but want to use
Publisher as it is on my PC along with other MS products I use. Thankyou,
Isabel
