How do I change format of one task in MS Project

I want to change highlighting/style of only some tasks in a project. When I
use Format menu to change this, the entire schedule changes with the
highlight I have applied. Iam using MSP 2002

Hi Shereen ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Format/Text Styles... works, as you say on every task that's been
highlighted. If you select the tasks in question, you can change their font
through Format/Font..., but that won't automatically happen without some
formula in a field to change the font or through some vba code.
