I have created a trifold in Publisher 98'. How do I change the file
extension so others (without publisher) can open it?

Hi Too wet (Too (e-mail address removed)),

In addition to Chuck's reply, Microsoft Publisher has a "Save As" feature
that allows you to save your files as Word Documents (*.doc and *.rtf). Keep
in mind that there may be some formatting loss as well as no support for
Publisher objects.

"May be some formatting loss"? Better rephrase that - WILL be formatting
loss. Yuck.

Just changing the extension will not help you.
Different extensions mean different formats suitable to be opened
usually by only the program that generates them.
Some programs can open other programs formats but just changing the
extension does not change the format.
Others have suggested how you can use the PDF format because this is the
format readable by everyone. The reader program is available for free
download.
