How do I convert a PDF file to word for a mail merge?

I have a pdf file that I would like to convert to a Word doument to use in a
mail merge. Has anyone been able to do this?

If you own Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional, you can convert to
a Word document. If there are a number of images, the
process becomes problematic. There are other priced
programs available that claim to do the same. Google!
