How do I create a project with a start date in the past?

When I create a project from an existing file used in the year 2003 and
change the start date to feb 20 '06, only a few tasks reflect the change.
Others remain unaffected. How do I make sure that all tasks are rescheduled
automatically with the start date in the past and the original links between
tasks not delinked?

Hi BBA,

Tasks with actual work recorded do not move. Project changes plans, it does
not change recorded history.
Select all tasks, click the task information button and enter 0% done.
Then when there are no constraints on the tasks changing the Project Start
will do.
If there are constraints you can either remove them or run the Adjust Dates
com from the Analysis toolbar.
