How do I curve the lines of the "perspective" in a raised block i.

I am trying to create a cube in Visio with a rounded line. However, when I
change the line of the block itself the "perspective" remains the same. I
would like the "perspective" to also have rounded edges that match the block
itself.

Yeah, well, those shapes are created with a lot of painstaiking trigonemtry
formulas in the underlying ShapeSheet engine behind each shape. It's not
really any kind of 3D rendering code that creates these shapes. So when you
round the corners, you kind of break the shape - the designer (*cough*)
didn't lock down corner rounding, nor did he do the (*cough*) math to allow
for rounding.

You might try making a rounded-corner shape with a shadow that matches the
3D offset as best as possible...kludgey, indadequate, but better than
nothing.

Chris,

Thanks for the information - That's pretty much what I figured, but I
thought I would check anyway. I'm actually a marketing guy and use Visio as
a device to create diagrams for PowerPoint, etc. that can be changed by
technical and sales folks as needed on a regular basis. I can easily make
rounded shapes, etc. in Illustrator (yes, sorry, I don't use all Microsoft
products..), but of course then the sales/tech guys can't change details
they want to. Any possibility of adding this functionality for a future
version? ;)

So, is that a subtle way of saying that this was one of yours?

John...
