How do I download a picture into my files so I can put it on a sli

i am in school again for the first time in about 25 years. I have to put
together a powerpoint presentation. My presentation is on collectong
autographs and we have to put in at least 1-2 scanned or pictures taken with
a digital camera. I don't have a camera and I need to have this to put on
one of my slides. I was wondering if I could download a picture from the web
into my files and then put in the slide. If yes, How do I go about doing it.

If you're using Inernet Explorer, right click on the picture and choose Save
As to save it to your hard drive.

In PowerPoint, choose Insert, Picture, From file and choose the file you
saved.
