How do I export Pictures from Word to save as their original .jpg?

I clicked on the URL and went to that Web site. It gave a solution and then
added a note: "An alternative approach has been developed by fellow MVP
Stephen Lebans, which is well worth investigating." However, it gives no clue
how to find this "alternative approach."

I seek a solution urgently because I'm supposed to archive digital images in
high resolution, and sometimes people send their originals embedded in Word
documents (don't ask me why -- I guess because that's the only technique
they've mastered to email images). Assuming the pictures go into the
documents in printable resolution (300 dpi) and print at the printer
resolution of at least that amount, it seems an unnecessary and unfortunate
sacrifice of resources to make them irretrieveable at printable resolution.
Therefore, I remain hopeful that someone has found a workaround.

Any advice will be appreciated, including a link to Stephen Lebans'
"alternative approach."

Thanks,

The note you refer to on my web page links directly to Stephen's own web
site. Just click the highlighted link.
