How do I get an inserted picture to appear on each page

I am trying to insert a picture and get it copy to each page without having
to copy it to each page manually

Sounds like what you're looking for is a watermark. In Word 2002/2003, use
Format | Background | Printed Watermark. For earlier versions, see “HOW TO:
