How do I get my TOC in word to convert to bookmarks in a pdf file.

I need help with setting up bookmarks in a PDF file.

I have a word document that is several hundred pages and I would like to
have the table of contents appear as bookmarks when converted to a PDF File.

There is probably a conversion setting I need to change?

This is a feature (valuable one at that) of Adobe Acrobat. It will
install some menu commands into Word. See the Menu: Adobe PDF (added to
Word), and the option "Change Conversion Settings". If not obvious at
that point, read more behind the "help button".

You will need to install the full Acrobat product, not just the reader.
You will also need Acrobat 6 or 7 if using Office 2003.
