How do I import a baseline schedule into Project 2003?

My baseline and current (statused) schedules are in two separate files. How
do I make the baseline dates in my current schedule equal to the original
schedule dates?

Hi ZaidK,

Off the top of my head, you have two options:

1) Copy and paste the baseline data from the "baseline" file into the
current file. I'd suggest using the baseline table for both the copy
and paste.

2) Export the data from the baseline file to Excel and then merge the
data by importing.

Note: this will only work well if the tasks in the file have the same
Unique ID. You will need to export the data from the baseline file
making sure you capture the unique ID during export and then merge the
baseline data into the current file using the Unique ID as the merge
key.
