how do i import excel into ms project

Hi Guys,

I have asked staff on my team to convert the excel spreadsheets into MS
Project 2000. They have hit a brick wall and no one knows how to do this.

Can some kind soul walk me through the method of accomplishing this task?

You can import from Excel by doing a file open, and selecting Excel Workbook
from the file-type drop-down. Then you have to specify which columns in the
spreadsheet are assoicated with the various Project fields.
