How do I keep OneNote from adding "Inserted from:"

M

Whenever I insert a document into onenote it adds this little box that says:
"page 1 of... Inserted from:..." I have quite a few pages that I'm adding in
and it gets annoying trying to delete them one at a time. I was wondering if
there was a way to turn off this "feature".

Thanks

To turn off the annotations, go to Tools-->Options and select Edit from the
category list. 4th box from the top is "Include link to source when pasting
from the Internet". Should do what you need :)

That unfortunately will not do the trick for inserting documents as pictures,
just when pasting from the web. We don't offer the ability to control this,
but this is good feedback and we'll consider adding this option in the
future.

Is this something you'd never want on, or just sometimes you'd like to
remove all of these links more easily for a given document you have inserted?

Sorry - missed the word "document" in the original post. Though, it is good
to have it documented that turning the annotation off won't change the
annotations for documents.
