Baby Dork
First off, I'm a self-taught user that doesn't like to read manuals unless I
have to (maybe a problem...) and that I've only been working with Project
(Standard 2003) for about 3 weeks...
With that said... I have four different Project files (all the same project
spread out over 13 years) and I need to link specific task from each file.
Example - two of the files are extremely detailed, one is somewhat detailed
and the other is basic. I need to be able to link them all in such a way
that when first viewing the file you see the basic file - if you want further
detail you can "click" on a specific task thus opening up more task
information... For instance, if I brief a high-ranking individual they may
only want to see the basic info however, they may have questions, which may
require further details from the other Project files. In this case I would
like to "click" on the specific task in question which in turn would open up
to provide further details from the other project files.
I hope this makes sense (it confuses me just typing it)....
