how do I make a template to look like an old open book?

If I knew exactly how you wanted your project to appear it would be helpful. Are you
creating a booklet or a flyer or a brochure? If you are using the booklet option, do
you want the cover to look like a book and then the inside to appear as an open book?
There is no template with this look, you will have to create it yourself. There is
book clipart with the pages open. Ungroup the clip, delete whatever is unnecessary
and compose your own text.

thank you for your advice.
My project is a brochure for a conference. One sheet of paper, folded in
half and then using 4 sides for the brochure. I am trying to make it look
like a 'book'. Just as you discribed.
I figured with all the obtions in clip art, there had to be something in
there for me.....
