How do I merge multiple Word documents into a single one on DOS?

E

What DOS command should I use if I want to merge multiple Word docs into one?
I've tried using "copy /b f1.doc+f2.doc f3.doc" but f3.doc is always f1.doc.
Thanks!

I wouldn't even attempt this. Merging multiple documents within Word is hard
enough.

What is it that you are trying to accomplish? You've asked about a
particular method that is ill-suited to accomplishing anything. Perhaps
someone can give you a way to do what you need to get done.

Why DOS? The boiler.dot add-in linked from the downloads page of my web site
will combine Word files in the order they are selected.
