how do i put page number for landscape and potrate pages in a doc

I was trying to input page number in my document. One of the page is
landscape within the document and other pages are in potrait size. The
problem is when I insert page numbers it inserts page numbers up to the
landscape page. For landscape it inserts a new number starting from 1. I want
continuous page number for the whole document. Your help is much appreciated.
