How do I remove outlook 6 from my machine

I am running windows 2000 and I think I have picked up a virus from somewhere
which is causing outlook to send loads of emails. Outlook is not my email
client, but nevertheless these emails are being sent.

What I want to do is to remove outlook from my machine so this problem will
not re-occur. How can I do this?

Hi Mark,
please open the control panel | software | there choose microsoft office
and click deinstall
