Hi Alan,
If I understand your question, you want to show several tasks on one line in
Project. I'm afraid that isn't possible as each line (row) represents a
single task. That being said, I can offer two suggestions that may
accomplish what I think you want.
1) You could enter the task with a duration and then split the task (use the
split button on the Standard toolbar) to interrupt the task.
2) Enter a summary task and then enter the several different activities as
subtasks (indent the subtasks). You can then roll up the Gantt bars for the
subtasks to the summary bar by double clicking the task and on the General
Tab click the option for "Roll up Gantt bar to summary."
