Once I create a recurring task, like a weekly status meeting, it shows them
all together on the timeline; how to I sort them by start date, so the weekly
tasks are incorporated into the timeline?

Hello Kelly,
I'm not sure of what you want, but...
Click the "+" sign on the left of your recurring task name
Hope this helps,

Hi Kelly,

If I understand your question correctly, I think there may be a
workaround that you can use to accomplish what you want. When you
create recurring tasks they are grouped together under the summary
recurring task and won't sort correctly as it will sort by the start
date of the summary task.

Select all of the subtasks under the summary recurring task and outdent
them to make them no longer subtasks of the summary recurring task.
Then you can sort the project by start date to distribute the status
meeting tasks among the rest of the tasks in the project. (You will
most likely want to delete the task which used to be the summary
recurring task.)

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
