How do I set up sequential numbering on labels

I am trying to set up sequential numbering on pages of labels. They have to
be the same number across and sequential going down. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hi JulieD,

This is an application that would be used on an Avery Label sheet. I need
the across labels (rows) to be the same number and be sequentially numbered
as they go down the sheet.

still not sure how you're going to do the labels, are you using VBA code to
generate them or are you going to do a mail merge with Word? because AFAIK
there's no way to natively print labels in excel or have you designed the
workbook to be a page of labels
ie first address takes up cells A1:A5, second address takes up cells C1:C5,
next address takes up cells A6:A10 etc
