How do I switch from Outlook express to Outlook ?

I have been successful in transferring my address book, and all e-mails
records from O express to Outlook.
I have also gone into Outlook /tools/ options/ other and selected Outlook as
my default email provider.
Yet all my emails still arive at O E & Outlook is non active.
I am running MS Antispyware would that have any bearing on this situation.

Have you configured your mail account in Outlook? Did you remove your
account from OE? What is the default mail program under control
panel->internet options->programs tab?

Hi Milly,
Many thanks for your response, and a happy new Year to you. I will answer
your questions in order.

1)The confiuration in Outlook/tools/options/other is set for Outlook.
2) No I did not remove acount from OE.
3) The default program is Outlook.
?
